Youth Services
Shoreline Rotary is committed to improving the health and wellness of children and families, supporting students in their education and extra-circular activities. In 2025-26 Shoreline Rotary provided $28,500 in Youth Service Support including:
- Shoreline Rotary Scholarship Program awarded $22,500 in scholarships to graduating seniors from two local secondary schools- King’s High School and Shorewood High School. These awards included funding from Dorothy Jennings & O’Neil Scholarship Endowments.
Shoreline Public Schools Foundation provides funds for annual engagement classroom grants. This year Shoreline Rotary’s donation of $1,000 went toward this effort.
Shoreline Rotary contributed $2,000 to The Works, a free student clothing room operated by the Shoreline PTA Council for students and families within the district. The Works, provides high-quality, clean, gently used children's and teen clothing, shoes, coats, and personal care items at no cost.
Canopy Scholars provides free or highly subsidized tutoring, STEM programs, and community support to local, underserved elementary and middle school students. Shoreline Rotary supported Canopy Scholars with a $3,000 donation.
